Just a quick note today. As I was falling asleep last night the Holy Spirit whispered the title above to me, which of course caught my attention, "The 3C's?" I asked?
He spoke back to me; "Yes, when you are ministering healing to someone, or really doing any kind of personal ministry, always remember the 3C's: Compassion, Command, Commit.
Compassion: You must have compassion for that person, because faith works by love.
Command: Speak to whatever infirmity you are coming against and command it to go.
Commit: Commit it to Jesus by saying: "In the name of Jesus." Then release your faith and let it go. Thank God and give Him the praise for the healing.
Live in God's Peace.
As the days of the end of this age draw to a close the enemy of our souls is going to be applying more and more pressure to get you to give up and surrender to the pressures of the world around you. Satan wants you to feel so overwhelmed and under pressure that you just don't want to live any more. Satan wants you to see no hope for your future, no peace in your life, and no love in your heart.
But PRAISE GOD, the LORD has a better plan (Jer. 29:11) and a better way. 1 Peter 5:7-10 calls us to cast all our cares upon the Lord, because He cares affectionately for you. But at the same time he adds that it is our responsibility to be vigilant knowing that the enemy is looking for those who are weak and susceptible to being overcome by the world. It become even more important that we learn to rest in His LOVE and end our striving to fit into a world system that is falling apart. Because God's grace has called us to out of the world into His eternal glory through Christ Jesus.
Yet how do we do these things? By leaning or putting all of your confidence in the Lord. Proverbs 3:5,6 says to put ALL your confidence in the Lord with ALL your heart. Don't trust your own understanding, because the voices around you are going to deride you and call you all sorts of names, calling you things that they have no understanding about. They are going to try to pull you into the ways of this world where there is no hope because that is all they know and while they will think they are helping you they are in reality trying to pull you away from God's plan for your life. Instead you must focus on and seek the Lord and acknowledge Him in everything you do. Seek to follow after His ways and He shall direct the ways you should go. Sometimes there may be no visible path to travel, but give God the permission to lead you on the way He wants you to go.
As I reveal in my book: Tell Them to Prepare - A New Look at the book of Revelation, there are seven mountains supporting "The Mystery Babylon" in the book of Revelation and these seven mountains are the foundations of this culture and civilization controlling the world today. This Babylon follows after and seeks to fulfill its own needs without God. It is more concern about worshiping self and pandering to the cries of their flesh. But all of it is beginning to crumble around them and they can see no hope in how to fix it. In the book we do an in-depth study of each of those seven foundations in "The Mystery Babylon" and discover how each of these foundations reveals and become part of the what seven judgments of the Tribulation actually are.
This Babylonian world around us is falling apart and a new Heavenly order is rising up. One that puts its trust and faith in the God to take care of them. Jesus tells us in Luke 12:22-34 that we should take no thought for our lives as to what we are going eat or drink or wear, or even sleep for He cares more for us than He does the birds of the air or the flowers of the fields, and yet he is always taking care of them.
But Richard, what if this or that happens?
Where is your faith? Where is your trust? Did not the Lord just tell us not to not be concerned about those things? Then why are you even talking against God about those things like that? You are doing what He just told you not to do. By taking a thought and saying it, you are releasing fear into your life and giving it power over your life. The Babylonian mindset operates in exactly this way, expecting man to provide the food for the table and clothes to wear, and Jesus is telling us not to do that. We are not to be part of this Babylonian world. We are called out of it and called to establish the Heavenly Jerusalem here on earth. Cast those fear full words down by repenting and filling your mouth with words of faith and life and love. Satan may (and will pressure) you to talk against the things God has promised you. He will suggest terrible outcomes in your life if you don't take action, if you don't do something now. And he will pressure you to talk about it. DON'T! Even in the midst of those attacks, stand up, square your back and proclaim the promises of God over your life. If you begin your day with praise and prayer, and fill your day proclaiming the goodness of God in your life, your days will be transformed from rolling with the punches to punching the enemy in the face.
The closer we come to the end of this age the more important it becomes for us to be vigilant in watching over our own souls (and our mouths) that we do not get caught up in the deceptions that are happening all around us. As people will become more and more unholy, not even realizing how wretched they are becoming, they will want you to be just like them. They will pull on you to do things the way they do, and when you don't act the way they think you should, then they will begin to criticize you and call you all manner of worthless creatures because you are not part of them or follow after the world the way they do.
Note above that Paul tells us in the last day these things will "come." This word "come" can imply something that creeps in, slowly, gradually moving in. We have seen all of these things slowly creeping into our lives all around us and we are warned to avoid such. They are ever trying to learn something new, but never applying the things the word of God tells them to do and are gradually eroded by the cares of this world.
In our diligence to avoid being caught up in this middle of the insanity of Babylon falling apart, we must continually strive to renew our minds to the ways of God. God's ways are higher than our ways and better than our ways (Isaiah 55:9). Most of the world can't understand it. But when we seek first His way of doing and thinking (Matt 6:33), then our minds become transformed and those ways of God don't seem strange at all. Instead they come more and more clear and the closer we come to doing things God's way, then our lives transform from struggling in Babylon to resting in His LOVE, because he cares for us. As we grow in learning to think like God thinks, we begin to see just how wretched and destructive that old Babylonian way of thinking really was. And in its place is a growing vibrant world of joy and celebration of enjoying God's way of living and looking forward to a future of unexpected surprises.
With such indescribable experiences awaiting us in God's presence, why would we want to lust after the cravings of the flesh in this world? If those who are lost knew what they were missing, they would never crave the things of this world, but the god of this world has blinded them where they can't see the truth. So why should we even consider the things this world has to offer; we are in the hands of a God who can take care of us. Strive each day to draw near to the heart of God, develop that relationship and seek to make it intimate beyond all earthly desires. The more time you spend with him, the less you will be interested in the things of this world. While the plots and schemes of this Babylonian world fall apart and crumble before our eyes, we are growing stronger in a new and more wonderful world of the Heavenly Jerusalem in our lives. Where we escape this dying Babylonian world and live in a world of peace and joy the way God intended.
Live in God's Peace!
